Chelsea’s captain Reece James, returning from injury, saw his shot parried by Legia’s keeper—only for 19-year-old Tyrique George to react quickest and slot home his first senior goal in a Chelsea shirt.
Manager Enzo Maresca made bold changes at halftime, introducing Noni Madueke, and the winger paid back the faith instantly.
