Born on October 7, 1998, in Liverpool, Merseyside, Trent joined Liverpool’s academy in 2004 at the age of six. Initially a wide midfielder, he was later transitioned to right-back a position that offered him a clear path to the first team. His potential was first spotted by then-manager Brendan Rodgers during the 2015–16 season, when he made his unofficial debut.
Trent made his senior debut at age 18 and quickly rose to global prominence.
