Memorial services for the late Member of Parliament and five others who perished in the crash will be held on Wednesday and Thursday in Nairobi and Narok County. The services are expected to draw national leaders, colleagues, friends, and members of the public who wish to pay their last respects and stand in solidarity with the bereaved families.
President William Ruto visited the late legislator’s residence to console the family, terming Ng’eno’s sudden death a devastating loss to his loved ones, the people of Amurad, and the nation at large. The Head of State remembered the fallen MP as a hardworking and visionary leader who remained committed to serving his constituents.
During his visit, President Ruto highlighted Ng’eno’s extraordinary work in Parliament, particularly his crucial role in supporting and advancing the government’s affordable housing program. He noted that the late MP consistently championed initiatives aimed at uplifting ordinary Kenyans and improving livelihoods. In a move meant to ease the financial strain on the grieving families, the President assured relatives of all six victims that the government would cover all burial expenses. The assurance was received as a gesture of compassion during a period of immense grief.
The funeral organising committee announced that the other four victims, excluding the pilot, will also be laid to rest at their respective homes on Friday. A joint mass for all the victims will be held in Narok, bringing together families, friends, and leaders in a collective tribute to those who lost their lives.

His passing marks the end of a promising chapter in public service, leaving behind a legacy shaped by resilience, dedication, and service to the people.
