The society that we live in expects a lot from us. To be defined and have a name in the community, you must have money, as they say, ‘pesa ni kila kitu’, meaning money means everything. It is a concept that is there. You are young and still, and people depend on you for finances.
The friends that are around us may be making it in life at 20. The making of it mostly comes in financial dependence. This is where your projects and businesses are glowing up early. It may be a little difficult to be in that situation, as one may have lower self-esteem, seeing oneself as lesser.
It’s sometimes good to be positive in life, it’s not all about financial success or relationship success, take a look at other thing having peace of mind is success, no grieving sickness. It may seem like a little thing, but know there is someone out there having money but is stressed every day.
This stage of life is still early to explore, learn skills and discover your passion. Experiencing failures and challenges will build strength and prepare one for the future. Focus on steady progress, which is more sustainable than quick wins.
Having big goals is a good thing, but do not pressure yourself; just try things out to work it out. Do not rush life because not everyone makes it by 30; we have different timeline maybe it will be at 31, 35, 40, or 60. Do not involve yourself in illegal activities to lose your character. Patience may pay, but do not rest because it won’t come from a blue moon.
True success comes from defining your own goals go for it as you move at your own pace.
