The Red Devils hand the Premier League Leaders their first home defeat in the premier league since May 2025, after securing a 3 – 2 victory at the Emirates stadium. Having beaten the 4 in a row premier league winner, Manchester City last weekend, Manchester United travelled to the Emirates this weekend for Match week 23 against Mikel Arteta’s side, The Gunners.
The match that was anticipated to be a tough encounter between two giant Premier league rivals, turned out to be a breathtaking match. With Manchester United having Signed Michael Carrick as their caretaker Manager for the rest of the season following the Departure of Ruben Amorim.

This victory meant that Michael Carrick has never lost a game while in charge of Manchester United and it has left the Red Devils age past Liverpool and into the top four guaranteeing them a direct Champions League spot next season if it remains that way.
